I am Melina White, and I’m so excited to share the story behind this brand.

My journey with horses began at 12, during a time when I needed joy and connection the most. Horses taught me to be present, persistant, and taught me a deeper way of living—lessons I carry with me every day.

With a passion for both the sport and entrepreneurship, I knew early on that I wanted to create something meaningful within the equestrian world. After exploring many paths, I realized I wanted to build a brand that felt authentic—one that kept me connected to the horse community, bringing people together,
and supporting Canadian riders.

At Avartia, we’re committed to offering high-quality, affordable gear.
Coming from a single-parent, middle-class household, I understand how costly this sport can be.
That experience fuels my mission to make equestrian products more accessible to everyone.
