Return & Exchange Policy


At Avartia Equestrian, we stand behind the quality of our products and want you to feel confident in your purchase. As a small business, we kindly ask that customers review all product details carefully before ordering.


Returns


We accept returns on eligible items within 14 days of delivery.


For standard returns, we offer store credit or exchange only.


Refunds are only issued if:

The wrong item was sent, or

The product is confirmed to be defective or damaged due to a product issue


Return Eligibility


To be eligible for a return, items must be:

Unused

In original condition

Free of horse hair, dirt, odours, or signs of wear

Returned in original packaging (if applicable)


Because our products are designed for equestrian use, any item showing signs of use in the barn, around horses, or while riding may not be accepted.


Non-Returnable Items


The following items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged:

Sale or clearance items

Gift cards

Items marked as final sale

Used items

Items returned with signs of wear, dirt, odour, or horse hair

Items damaged due to misuse, improper care, or normal wear and tear


Change-of-Mind Returns


For approved returns that are not due to an error on our part or a product defect, including but not limited to:

Change of mind

Preference

Sizing concerns

Ordering the wrong item

Any other non-defective reason


the following conditions apply:

Original shipping charges are non-refundable

Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs

Returns are eligible for store credit or exchange only

Any store credit or exchange will be processed only after the returned item has been received and inspected


Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items


If you receive an item that is incorrect, or you believe your item has a product-related defect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.

Your order number

Clear photos of the product

Clear photos of the packaging

A brief explanation of the issue


If the issue is determined to be due to a product defect, quality issue, or an error on our part, we may offer a replacement, exchange, store credit, or refund at our discretion.


Damage Caused by Carrier


Please note that Avartia Equestrian is not responsible for damage caused by the shipping carrier during transit.


If damage appears to be the result of rough handling, crushing, tearing, or other shipping-related issues after the package has left our possession, customers may be required to contact the shipping carrier directly.


We may request photos and review the situation to help determine whether the damage is:

Carrier-related transit damage, or

A product defect / damage present before shipment


If we determine the issue is related to the product itself, we will work with you toward an appropriate resolution.


Return Shipping Costs


Customers are responsible for return shipping costs for any approved return that is not due to:

A confirmed product defect

A damaged product caused by a product issue

An incorrect item sent by us


For all other returns, including change-of-mind returns:

Original shipping charges are non-refundable

Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility


Refund Processing


If a refund is approved due to a confirmed product defect or an error on our part, the refund will be issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days after the returned item has been received and inspected, depending on your payment provider.
